The 2013 NFL playoff schedule is down to the final eight teams and the Super Bowl frenzy is starting to build. If you happened to place a wager in Las Vegas on either the Denver Broncos or Seattle Seahawks to win this championship this season you may be in for a big pay day if they win Super Bowl XLVII.
When the 2013 Super Bowl came out back in February, both the Broncos and Seahawks were listed at 75/1 long shots.
After the Broncos signed QB Peyton Manning in late March, the odds on Denver went from 75/1 to 45/1, but over all neither Denver or Seattle was getting much serious attention when it came to talks of winning the Super Bowl.
Well, after the preseason gamblers took note of both of these teams as the Broncos odds dropped to 20/1 and the Seahawks to 35/1.
Fast forward to today, Jan. 7, and those long odds are looking like a possible sweepstakes ticket!
These two teams are playing great football right now and they may end up facing each other in the Super Bowl. Not many people thought that would be possible 6 months ago!
If you have a season long wager on the Seahawks or Broncos, keep it under your pillow because the tooth fairy may be paying you a visit soon!
